Mentor-Coaching is designed for those who have graduated from My Friends and/or Our Generations training
Our Mentor-coaches are My Friends trained practitioners. Although not professionally certified, all Mentor-coaches have completed foundational coach training, participate in ongoing skills development, and are living the My Friends lifestyle.
Meet the coaches
Mitchell Poloni - Mitchell has been a missionary with Power to Change since 2017, initially working with university students in equipping them to share their faith. He is now working alongside churches, helping them live out an intentional lifestyle of reaching their communities. With a background in teaching, he is passionate about journeying alongside others and helping others think outside the box.
Darren Stone - Darren has over 20 years' experience with campus ministry with Power to Change in Brisbane, reaching international students. He is currently overseeing the Our Generations Training and Coaching. Darren partners with Mitcham Baptist Church to pioneer disciple-making movements or ‘Jesus-centred communities’ (Chinese & local contexts) at the University of Melbourne. He facilitates MyFriends and Our Generation training and coaching. With a wealth of experience behind him, he is passionate about seeing others build their own ‘Jesus-centered’ communities and loves discipling and mentor-coaching!
Bob Prouty - Bob Prouty has over 40 years of cross-cultural missionary experience. He and his wife (Chris) presently reach out to people in the multi-cultural community of Homebush West, NSW and Western Sydney University. Bob is an experienced MyFriends trainer and app developer. His creations include myfriends.network, mylanguage.net.au and hereslife.com.
Dave Evans - Dave is an experienced facilitator and coach in the MyFriends lifestyle training. He has worked with young adults for the last decade in campus and church disciple-making activities. He has a passion to come alongside people to help them think through their next steps in reaching their social circles for Jesus. Dave currently works for Power to Change in the Church Movements Team. He has a background in social work and biblical studies. Dave is keen to use his expertise and new developed skills in coaching methods to help people become an everyday witness for Jesus everywhere.
